Bitskout models can only analyze data but they don't write it anywhere. Thus, to have the data in your tools like Asana or monday.com we need to configure where the data should appear. In Bitskout it is called output.

There are two output types in Bitskout: Field Output and Label Mapping. The difference between them is that in Field Output you write information to a field and in Label Mapping, you map information to a label.

Field Output

There are two ways to configure a field output:

Configuring the output during the model setup

When you set up the model, you can immediately create an output to avoid extra clicking. The output setup is visible in the following section:

  1. To configure field output, click Configure Field Output. The configuration wizard will start:

  2. In the dropdown list please select a service. If the service is not present, you can configure it on this screen.

  3. Now let's select the board/project. Click on the button Select the board/project.

  4. Click on the workspace (Default in our case) and then type the project name in the search field and press Search.

  5. Once the list of found projects will be displayed, choose the project where you want the data to appear by clicking on it and press Apply.

  6. The screen will be reloaded and would allow you to select the fields from a model and choose where the data should appear.

    Select the fields:

Choose where the data should appear:

  7. Press Apply and the output will be automatically added to this model.

  8. The output name will be the same as the model's name and you will be able to see it in the outputs section.

Configuring the output separately

Press add to open the Output creation screen:

Specify the output name and description. Please note that custom outputs are connected with a particular project using one-to-one mapping. It means that one custom output can be attached only to one project.

Then choose the A.I. model:

In our example, we will use Packing List Date Extraction Model.

Then choose the data you need to write to a board or a project by pressing Add near the "Specific Bounding Box" item:

Choose the parameters you want to write to tasks by using checkboxes and press Apply. The system will add corresponding values to selected options:

Next, you need to choose which service and project/board name you want this data to appear:

Once you choose the service and the project (we will use monday.com in this example), the fields selection will become available:

Choose the fields where you want to write data:

Once done, press Apply and your custom output will be visible in the list:

A newly created

Next, if you want the data to be written to those fields, you need to specify the custom output when configuring the workflow:
